Metal Cutting, Bending and Welding Services in Arizona

When a part needs to be cut, formed, and welded, keeping those processes with one fabricator shortens the path from raw material to completed component.

One Partner From Raw Material to Finished Part

A component rarely arrives finished after a single step. A bracket is cut, then formed. A frame is cut, then welded. A panel is cut, then finished. When those steps live with different vendors, you coordinate the handoffs, the freight, and the accountability when something does not line up.

Keeping connected fabrication processes with one company can reduce that coordination. KorFab cuts, forms, welds, and finishes in one Phoenix facility, which means one partner is responsible for the part from raw material to completed component.

The Processes KorFab Connects

  • Laser plate cutting
  • Large shape plasma processing
  • Small shape and fine pattern cutting
  • Five axis plasma cutting and machining
  • Bending and forming
  • Automated welding
  • Finishing and powder coat
  • Delivery and packaging

How Connected Processes Help

When a part moves from laser cutting to forming to welding inside one shop, the team running each step can see the part the previous step produced. Tolerances pass forward cleanly. If a cut dimension affects a downstream weld, the people involved can talk to each other directly rather than through a purchase order.

That does not mean KorFab performs every possible metal process. It means the processes we do run are connected, and we will tell you when a step needs to leave the shop.

Managing Too Many Fabrication Vendors for One Part?

If you are sending a part to one shop for cutting, another for forming, and a third for welding, you are managing three relationships, three lead times, and three points of failure for a single component. When something does not line up between vendors, the part is the one that suffers.

KorFab can review the complete component or assembly and determine which of its approved capabilities can be coordinated for the project. Not every process stays internal, and KorFab will tell you when a step needs to leave the shop. The goal is to reduce the number of vendors you are managing for one part. For projects that need several connected processes, complex metal fabrication covers that scope. For completed assemblies, fabricated metal assemblies covers that output.

What to Send

Send the drawing, the material, the quantity, the finish, and the required delivery date. If the part needs a specific process sequence, note that. We will review the full scope and quote it in one pass. For custom component manufacturing, this is how we plan the work.
